At Love Your Neighbour, our mission has always been to turn compassion into tangible change. As we look back on 2025, we are overwhelmed by what we have achieved together. Because of your donations, we haven’t just provided “aid”; we have provided dignity, health, and a future for hundreds of individuals.

Here is a look at exactly how your contributions were utilized this year.

1. Education: Breaking the Cycle

Education is the most powerful tool for change. This year, your support focused on keeping the next generation in the classroom and giving a second chance to those who missed out.

• Keeping Girls in School: We enabled 200 girls to remain in school, ensuring financial barriers didn’t stand in the way of their potential.
• Community Enrollment: Beyond the youth, over 40 non-school-going individuals from the community were successfully enrolled in educational programs, proving it is never too late to learn.

2. Shipping & Mobility: Restoring Independence

Physical limitations should not mean a lack of opportunity. We successfully coordinated the shipping and distribution of essential mobility aids. These were delivered directly to persons with additional needs who lacked the financial means to acquire them, giving them the gift of movement and independence.

3. Disability Support: Holistic Care

Our commitment to the most vulnerable members of our community remains a priority. This year, we provided specialized support to over 6 children, including:

• Therapy and medical care.
• Improved nutritional support.
• Caregiver Respite: We offered two days of center drop-off per child, providing much-needed respite for parents and caregivers to rest and recharge.

4. Better Housing: A Foundation of Safety

A home should be a sanctuary. We utilized funds to repair and upgrade substandard housing throughout the community. By fixing roofs, walls, and floors, we provided families with safe, structurally sound, and dignified homes where they can thrive.

5. Agriculture: Planting Seeds of Self-Sufficiency

Long-term food security is the key to a thriving community. We empowered local farmers by providing:

• Essential agricultural inputs (seeds, tools, fertilizers).
• Specialized training to increase yields. By improving productivity, we are ensuring that the community can feed itself for years to come.

6. Sanitary Towels: Dignity and Consistency

For many girls, a natural cycle can be a barrier to education. Our sanitary towel program became a lifeline for 200 girls, ensuring they didn’t have to miss school. Additionally, this initiative opened the door to learning for over 40 adults who had previously been left behind, welcoming them back into the school community with the resources they need.

7. Water: The Source of Life

Clean water is a human right. This year, we invested heavily in infrastructure by digging wells and drilling boreholes. These new, reliable water points provide local communities with accessible, clean water—drastically improving the health and quality of life for every family in the area.
